The Friends of Cathedral Music: http://www.fcm.org.uk

The Friends of Cathedral is a society of subscribing members, both nationwide and overseas, whose aim is to assist cathedrals in maintaining their traditional sung services and to increase public appreciation of these unique choral acts of worship. Gatherings are held throughout the year at cathedrals, abbeys, chapels and churches where there are regular sung services. As well as attending services, members have the opportunity to listen to the choirs rehearsing, attend talks by the Directors of Music and clergy, tour the buildings, listen to organ recitals and demonstrations and to meet informally afterwards. The society's excellent web site contains information on services at cathedrals and other notable foundations throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
